IOWA
HELICOPTER, READY TO SERVE YOU!
COMING SOON
Iowa Helicopter, in cooperation with Exec 1 Aviation in Ankeny, is pleased to
bring turbine helicopter service to Iowa. Flights will soon be available in the
Bell 206L3 Long Ranger helicopter. This aircraft seats 5/6 people plus one pilot
and is an extremely stable aerial photo and video platform.
Over
the past several years, Iowa
Helicopter has been slowly and safely growing our business
in order to serve
the helicopter needs of central Iowa and now the Omaha
Nebraska area. We are proud that our helicopter
flight students have had a 100% passing rate for their
pilot certificates.
We believe students should train to exceed the required
standards, not just
simply meet them. Our students land great jobs flying
with hospitals, the
oil industry and tour operators.
Iowa Helicopter also offers complete aerial photography
and video
services. Not only does the helicopter provide a better
platform than
airplanes for shooting photos and video, but we are much
more efficient. It
is not unusual to be able to photograph two to three
times as many locations
in an hour when using a helicopter when compared to fixed-wing
aircraft.
This saves you, the customer, time and money! We have
high resolution
cameras and high definition video equipment, plus experienced
photographers. Your photographer is also welcome to fly
with us!
Our business doesn't stop with photos and flight training,
we also conduct
aerial surveys for property developers, inspect powerlines,
conduct wildlife
management counts, and give hundreds of rides every year
at town festivals
and corporate outings. We are proud of our work with
local law enforcement
in searching for lost persons or helping tracking down
a violent criminal on
the run.
At
Iowa Helicopter, we fly only modern equipment from
the nation's largest
helicopter manufacturer. Each aircraft is inspected
every 100 hours of
flight time by certified mechanics.

working with you in
the near future. Contact
