It's time again for the Iowa Helicopter Holiday Lights Tours.
Experience the thrill of flying over the areas best light displays in the
heated comfort of Iowa Helicopters R44 Raven II aircraft, complete
with bubble observation windows for the best view.
All tours are conducted through out the month of December from dusk up until 10 pm.
Each tour can have up to 3 passengers Each trip is flown by a commercial helicopter pilot with
instrument rating for additional safety. All trips depart from the
Ankeny Regional Airport.

Available Tours:
Pride of Ankeny Tour: $100. The Ankeny area has some of the areas best light displays. This 10 minute flight will let you see them all, plus catch a glimpse of Saylorville Lake. (Book Now!)
Downtown Des Moines: $200. We depart from Ankeny and loop you over the downtown buildings, including
801 Grand, Principal Park, the Brenton Ice Skating Plaza and the State Capital. Approximately 20 minutes. (Book Now!)
Deluxe Des Moines Metro Tour: $300. We depart from Ankeny and head southwest toward Merle May Hall, Urbandale, then across the roof of Valley West Mall before heading for the brightly lit tree at Jordan Creek Town Center. From there, we turn east across Glenn Oaks Golf Course, zip across the Des Moines airport and see the beautiful light display at Waterworks Park and the lighted pedestrian bridge on Grays Lake. Then its over downtown and the Capital as we head north to return to Ankeny. This flight takes approximately 30 minutes. (Book Now!)

IMPORTANT: Each flight is by reservation. A credit card or paypal reservation is needed to hold your time. In case of weather or mechanical delays, you will be rebooked on the next available time slot or offered a refund. Iowa Helicopter requires 24 hour cancellation notice so that we may rebook our flights.
